The general conditions of sale contained herein apply to all products and services sold through the Florimont & Barton website. They define the rights and obligations of the parties. Florimont & Barton reserves the right to modify at any given moment the content and form of these general conditions of sale.

Florimont & Barton shall respect the privacy of the personal data communicated by the customers on the E-Commerce website and shall manage the data in accordance with applicable legal obligations.
Customers’ data may be used by Florimont & Barton for the following purposes:
- For the management of orders, deliveries and billing
- To inform the customers of sales and events by way of e-mails of invitation
- To improve and customize the communication towards the customer, by way of sending newsletters, special offers and other e-mails.
When he first registers on the website, the customer retains the possibility of refusing the sending by Florimont & Barton of e-mails of invitation or other commercial communications. Furthermore, he may modify this setting in his account at any time.
The customer shall provide the personal information necessary to the management of his order (delivery and billing). This information shall be accurate, valid and up-to-date. The information concerning the customer’s identification and password shall be kept secret by the customer.
- Sales process
3.1 Orders
Once the desired product has been chosen, it is placed in the “shopping cart” by clicking the button “Add to cart”. The customer may then continue his selection of products, modify his shopping cart or proceed with the payment of the order.
Once the order is confirmed and paid, the customer receives by e-mail a confirmation of his order.
3.2 Price
All prices are in CHF. Clients can get an estimated amount in other currencies. Small differences from bank’s current exchange rate may occur, and we disclaim any responsibility for the amount shown in other currencies on our clients' receipt If it does not match the actual amount you pay.
The prices mentioned for each product on the E-Commerce website shall be understood as including VAT, but excluding delivery. The delivery expenses of the order shall be indicated prior to the final confirmation of the order.
Florimont & Barton reserves the right to modify, without prior warning and at any moment, the prices and other fees published on the E-Commerce website. However, the products will be billed to the customer on the basis of the tariffs in force at the moment of the confirmation of the order.
3.3 Depiction of the products
Florimont & Barton shall endeavor to ensure that the products sold through the E-Commerce website are depicted by photographs with the highest possible accuracy. However, due to the mode of presentation of these products on the Internet network, it is possible that the perception of the customer of the photographic depiction of the products does not exactly correspond to the products themselves.
The details of the products or product specifications (for instance weight, color, handwork details, size, etc.) quoted with the product displays are only fairly approximate values. While every endeavor has been made to accurately reproduce colors, size, appearance of quality etc. there may be minor variations in color, size, and appearance of quality of the actual product because of the nature of product, differences in display output due to lighting and digital photography and color settings and capabilities of monitors. A customer must place an order keeping in mind this minor variation in color, size, dimensions and appearance as seen on a computer screen against the actual color of the product received. Florimont & Barton believes that all online buyers are aware that colors seen on a monitor will be slightly different to that of the actual product or accessories ordered. Customer will not claim refund by rejecting goods purchased for such minor mismatches.
3.4 Secure payments
For the protection of your details during the booking process we use Secure Socket Layers (SSL). This is a security system for the Internet which ensures that the information exchange between you and our site during the online booking process is encrypted and therefore cannot be read by third parties. This means your payment details and personal details are protected. A page is secured if there is a padlock at the bottom of the page on your screen. Most browsers support SSL. If you are not sure whether your browser supports SSL, check the browser data with your Internet Service Provider.
Paying with your credit card: You can pay with Mastercard, Visa or American Express.
3.5 Delivery
Delivery fees are calculated at the end of the order process, on the basis of the delivery country, weight and the tariffs of the carrier.
Florimont & Barton guarantees the expedition of the products sold through the E-Commerce website to Switzerland and to no other country. The products will be sent to the delivery address indicated by the customer during the order process.
In case of international buyer, the buyer is the importer of the goods and he is the qualified person in regards to the customs services for importation.
Upon receipt of your order and proof of your payment, your order will be handled as soon as possible. All the orders will be shipped via the Swiss post. The shipping time may vary from 3 to 10 ten working days. The shipping costs vary depending on the weight and size of the parcel. The correspond to the prices of the Swiss Post currently in force.
3.6 Returns, withdrawal and refund
Upon reception of the product by the customer, he shall have a right of withdrawal to be exercised within a term of 7 days by returning the delivered product, the return expenses being supported by the customer. Only the products bought through the E-Commerce website, and returned with their protective film or individual protective package may be refunded.
The procedure is as follows:
The customer sends an email to: news@Florimont & Barton.com, indicating the order number as appears in the confirmation email.
The customer sends the goods, at his expense, to the following address:

The product must be complete, correctly protected, in its original package, with the protective film or protective package intact, along with all its accessories.
The product is controlled by Florimont & Barton, which will decide whether to validate the refund, in particular by verifying that the product has been integrally returned and in a state fit to be re-commercialised, as provided by the right of withdrawal.
If the goods satisfy the above conditions, they may give right to a refund.
If the goods do not satisfy the above conditions, they will be sent back to the customer, who will not be entitled to a refund.
- Applicable law
The present general conditions of sale, as well as any sale to which they apply, are subject to Swiss law. Any litigation or dispute arising from or in connection with these general conditions of sale or with any sale to which they apply will be settled in accordance with Swiss law. The application of the 1980 United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. In the event of dispute, an amicable solution must be sought before starting legal proceedings.
